We are experienced with all hardwood floor installation techniques: nail down (into plywood subfloor), glue down (good over concrete), and floating installations (over concrete, marble or other hard surfaces). We’ll review with you any necessary repair prior to installation, such as leveling of subfloors or repairing or replacing existing subfloors. After installation, we offer mouldings to match, as well as paint grade moulding to blend in with your walls or trim.

Correct preparation and finish will protect the wood from wear, dirt and moisture while giving the wood an attractive color and sheen.  Most floors are finished with a sealer or a stain (a pigment used to color the floor) and a top coat or surface finish (2 or three layers) to protect the wood.
